An Evidential Medium Reflects on Family Memories During the Holiday Season

As an evidential medium I have come to a richer appreciation of what family memories mean. In fact, these family memories are one of the primary means, through which our loved ones in the spirit world communicate their messages. This holiday season I have found myself reflecting more on my own loved ones in the spirit world, who have enriched my life so meaningfully.

I remember how my Grandma Sharp would begin baking in November and early December--gigantic batches of homemade Christmas cookies--with each family member receiving an assortment of the goodies she would bake with such love. I vividly recall my great-grandmother's smile as she would purchase Christmas candy in bulk, likewise giving each person in the family an assortment--or how she would hold me as a child in her lap, as we watched the snow outside, covering everything in sight, except for the one rabbit hopping through it in search of warm shelter. I can still smell the cups of hot, black coffee at my maternal grandparents' house and can almost taste my Grandpa Matheny's rigatoni sauce (he was famous for it within our family). Sometimes as I wrap gifts for those dear to me, I suddenly sense my cat Toby, gazing at me as he would do in life--so fascinated by what I was doing.

As an evidential medium the spirit world provides me with these types of vivid memories and sensations, which the loved ones of clients wish to provide--proof that death does not exist and is merely a change from this existence to the next one. As a professional medium I always tell clients that I am not doing anything: clients' loved ones in the spirit world actually blend with me to show me memories from their own lives, sensations and feelings they experienced in the physical world, and the eternal and unconditional love they still hold for those they had to leave behind. Love is the only constant in the Universe, and we are all an incredibly significant piece of it. Mediumship is irrefutable evidence of that.
