Texas Online LPC
Supervisor for LPC Associates

Get Started on Your Hours for Licensure Now!

Congratulations on completing graduate school! You're finally ready to take that next step and embark upon an exciting and rewarding career as a professional counselor in Texas.

I am a Board-Approved Supervisor by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors and offer clinical supervision by video to LPC Associates seeking to complete licensure hours required by the state. Supervision is based on the Board’s established guidelines, which are designed to assist LPC Associates in becoming highly competent and ethical practitioners.

As a Texas online LPC Supervisor, I offer supervision by video in individual sessions (1 to 2 LPC Associates) to LPC Associates throughout Texas. I bring more than eight years of experience to the table, having worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient psychiatric facilities, community behavioral health settings and private practice. I have worked extensively with various clinical problems, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and others. Moreover, I have professional experience with a wide range of clinical populations but have particular expertise in working with LGBTQ clients and those with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Supervision sessions are held at least once weekly for a minimum of 18 months and are tailored to your specific needs as a developing counselor. Common topics we will discuss during supervision sessions may include ethical or legal issues, case consultation, problem-solving, and assistance with the licensure process and further developing professional identity as a counselor. I offer guidance with both the clinical and administrative aspects of launching a private practice as a new therapist. My experiences in life and as a professional counselor equip me to provide a well-rounded supervision experience to you.

My hope is that you will discover how to be a better you during our time together--both personally and professionally. If you believe that we could be a compatible team, please contact me to arrange your consultation to discuss your goals.

Requirements to start supervision (but not needed at the time of consultation):

  • Resume/CV

  • Passing score on the National Counselor Examination

  • Jurisprudence Exam Certificate

  • Supervisory Agreement Form sent to the Texas State Board of Examiners

  • LPC-Associate License received from the state

  • Professional Liability Insurance (Face sheet only)

My Fees

I charge a monthly supervision fee of $400. This is a set rate – no other fees are assessed.

What does my fee cover?

This includes one hour weekly of clinical supervision. However, you are not limited to only those times. You will have my personal cell phone number and email address, as well, so that you are able to reach out with any questions you may have between supervision sessions and in case of any emergencies.

My own clinical supervision was offered at a reasonable rate, and I am committed to passing the tradition on. Just as an aside, it should be noted that your clinical supervision fees are tax-deductible, as well (pretty awesome, right?). Should we agree to work together, you can count on a meaningful and transparent relationship that is professional, ethical, and relevant.
