Hi, I'm Brian Sharp. I’m a Texas Board-Approved LPC Supervisor, and I help new counselors become the kind of professionals clients trust—and colleagues admire. I offer video-based LPC supervision across Texas to Associates who are serious about developing real skill, authentic confidence, and a solid professional foundation. This is more than a credentialing checkpoint. This is about transformation.But you don’t want just any supervisor. You want someone who sees your potential. With over 8 years of experience in various settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, community behavioral health centers, and private practice, I have worked with nearly every clinical population. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients and those with co-occurring substance use and mental health diagnoses. I offer real-world mentorship on launching your private practice, handling documentation, setting boundaries, navigating insurance, and building a sustainable career.

Supervision sessions are held weekly for at least 18 months. But this isn’t some dry checklist-driven meeting. We’ll talk about the stuff that matters:

• How to handle difficult clients (and your feelings about them)

• Growing your professional identity and confidence

• Working through imposter syndrome

• Setting yourself up for long-term success—financially and emotionally

And when emergencies or questions arise? I’ll be there. You’ll have my personal phone number and email, so you’re never navigating tough decisions alone.

I charge a flat monthly fee of $400. That covers:

• Weekly one-hour supervision (individual or dyadic)

• On-call availability between sessions

• Professional mentorship you can actually use

• No extra fees. No surprises.

And yes—supervision fees are tax-deductible. So not only are you investing in your future… you’re doing it wisely.

• Each week, come ready to dive into one or more client cases. Don’t just tell me what happened—reflect on it. What did you do well? What left you feeling unsure? What challenged your ethics, your emotions, your confidence?

• Supervision isn’t about performance—it’s about practice. Honest, humble, courageous practice. The kind that turns anxiety into clarity and self-doubt into competence

• Complete your clinical notes within 24 hours of seeing clients. Not because it’s a checkbox, but because it’s part of honoring their stories—and your professionalism.

• Timely, accurate documentation protects you, supports your clients, and lays the groundwork for a career built on integrity.

• Don’t wait for an ethical dilemma to figure out what your responsibilities are.

• Make it a point to familiarize yourself with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors and ACA Code of Ethics early—and often.

• These aren’t just rules. They are the moral scaffolding of our profession. Understanding them will make you more confident, grounded, and trustworthy in your work.

You’re required to carry professional liability insurance of at least $1,000,000/$3,000,000 throughout our time together. Think of it not just as a policy, but as a statement: “I take my role seriously—and I take care of those I serve.”

• Come into each session with respect for your clients, but also a deep curiosity about them—and about yourself.
